In 1849, William Everard founded our brewery in Leicestershire. This year, we’re celebrating 175 years as an independent family business in our 6th generation. Cheers to more great beers and great times!

Opening times & how to find us

Opening Times

Gates open at 7.30am and close at 11pm Monday - Saturday and open at 9am and close at 10pm on Sundays.

Please note: Any cars left in the car park after the closing time will be locked in overnight until the opening time the following morning.

Flooding and Bridge Closure

The River Soar is prone to flood from time to time, making the area inaccessible and would lead to the closure of the bridge over the River Soar.

Please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for flood updates and bridge closure information.

How to find us

Everards Meadows is near Enderby in Leicestershire, opposite retail shopping centre Fosse Park.

Approximately four miles from Leicester City Centre and less than a mile from Junction 21 of the M1 and the start of the M69, Everards Meadows is easy to access by car and is well connected by the bus network and cycle and walking paths.

Getting Here

Everards Meadows is really easy to reach via the National Cycle Network Route 6 (Great Central Way) and the area is well serviced by public transport including the Arriva Click service. Take a look at the Choose How You Move website to see all the options you have to visit us other than by car.

Cycling

You can reach us easily by bike and we have plenty of bike racks outside Rutland Cycling and Jenno’s Coffee House. We are approximately 4.5 miles from the Clock Tower in the centre of Leicester and much of the route is traffic-free. For more information on the National Cycle Network visit the Sustrans website

Walking

There are many ways you can reach us on foot. The National Cycle Network Route 6 (Great Central Way) offers a lovely walking route and you can also reach us from the Grand Union Canal towpath close to Blue Banks Bridge. We are just over the road from Fosse Park and there are pedestrian crossings.

Public Transport

The area is well serviced by Public Transport. The Choose How You Move website can help you plan your route and also check out the local Arriva Click service.

Parking

Currently we do not offer customer charging as our points are exclusively for our team. Please look for nearby car charging facilities when you plan your visit.

Parking is free for the first 3 hours and no ticket is required as your number plate is captured on arrival as you drive in.

If you plan to stay for longer than 3 hours then please purchase a ticket on arrival. Parking fees apply as follows:

The car park is pay and display, with your number plate being recorded by a camera on arrival. Please pay by card over the phone if you are able to - simply call 0203 046 0060 and quote the location code 21533. You can also use the RingGo app. Alternatively, you can use the machines to pay by cash and display your ticket. The machines are regularly emptied and sanitised but we do recommend you wash your hands/sanitise before and after use for everyone's safety.

Been at Meadows longer than planned? You can pay before midnight to avoid receiving a fine. Simply pay via phone, the app or at the machine before you leave.

Please read the car park signage carefully for useful information to avoid penalty charges. This is private land owned by Everards of Leicestershire and we have partnered with Smart Parking to bring in parking controls to ensure that spaces can be utilised by genuine customers. Parking is measured by the time of entry into Everards Meadows. If you have any queries please direct them to Smart Parking or Everards. Smart Parking share details of their appeals process on their penalty notice.

We charge for parking as this private land is maintained by our independent, family business.

The car park is closed with the gates locked overnight from 11pm Monday to Saturday and 10pm Sundays.
